Olive Oil There are about 200 producers in the area; the first-rate quality of the oil is due to the type of environment and vegetation.
Officinal and aromatic plants About 24 types of culinary herbs are grown mainly in the hills owing to the ideal climate. These crops are raised by a large number of family-owned farms.
Natural fruits and vegetables As some of the farms are located within the territory of the nature Park Migliarino-San Rossore-Massaciuccoli, owners raise crops using new tecniques that greatly reduce the use of chemicals and later sell them with the Park’s trademark.

Honey Many beekeepers work in Massarosa’s territory because the particular microclimate in the area is ideally suited to grow a large number of vegetable species. Different types of honey are obtained: acacia, heather, lime, etc. Local producers are members of the Tuscan Honey Association.
| Lotus flowers They are situated on the outskirts of Massarosa, the only producer on an industrial scale. The swampy soil bordering the Migliarino-San Rossore-Massaciuccoli Park is perfect for growing this kind of crop.
