THE ECONOMY
The economy of Forte dei Marmi nearly is exclusively tied to the tourism, with its connected activities, particularly the commerce. Little are the handicraft activities, also for lack of space in the territory, and areb absent the industrial activities. The tourist activity is not only tied to the hotel structures; many work in the other important economic field of the Common one: the villas and the second houses, that they are very many, have need of maintenance, gardening and other, much to give job to a remarkable number of inhabitants.
